Kim Kardashian Baby News: KimYe Reveal Gender of Second Child on Instagram -- Find Out Here

The rumors have finally been laid to rest as Kim Kardashian West herself confirmed that she is indeed expecting a baby boy. While the speculations were directly addressed by Kim's representative on Monday, it was via social media that the star of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" ultimately put an end to the conjectures regarding her second baby's gender, according to CBS News.

Posting a candid shot of her daughter, North West, sitting on her dad's lap, Kim casually announced the gender of Baby No. 2. In a post that appeared to be addressing her husband, rapper Kanye West, Kim wrote, "Precious moments like this when we were traveling on tour with you are what I live for." However, it was the second line that revealed the baby bombshell when the reality star added, "You're such a good daddy to North & you will be the best daddy to our new son too!"

In the photo, fans and followers of the "Selfish" author could see baby North, who just turned 2 years old on June 15 and celebrated her birthday bash in Disneyland, cuddling up with Kanye as the two reads a picture book. Both father and daughter are sitting on a chair inside of what could be speculated as a hotel room. The photo appears to have been taken without the knowledge of the two as they seemed to be concentrating on the said book. According to MTV News, the said post is just one of the many messages Kim posted in celebration of Father's Day this year.

Meanwhile, Kim slammed rumors claiming that her second baby will be called South West. In a phone interview with Mike Pesca and Amy Dickinson of "WAIT WAIT ...DON'T TELL ME," Kardashian regaled the listeners by straightforwardly addressing the rumors surrounding her pregnancy and personal life.

"I don't like South West, though, because that's like - you know, North will always, you know, be better," Kim tells Pesca and Dickinson, referring to the insistence of some fans that her second baby should be called such in relation to her first child's name. "And be more - she has a better direction," she continues. Both hosts also point out that the said name might cause conflict between the children as these are referring to different directions, to which Kim agrees and adds, "Exactly, so I wouldn't do that. I don't think we'll go with another direction." Kim also shrugs off the various monikers suggested by the hosts and even comments, "You'd be surprised at all of the names people do send us."
