Efron attended Corbin Bleu's broadway show "Holiday Inn Musical" with their "High School Musical" co-star Lucas Grabeel. The 28-year-old actor shared a photo of the recent reunion on his Instagram account.

This stirred speculations that the former cast members will still show up in "High School Musical 4." This could mean that Hudgens and Efron can still share the same screen together despite their breakup.

There have been rumors that Hudgens and Efron's reunion in "High School Musical 4" threatens the former's boyfriend, Austin Butler. According to OK! Magazine, the "Dirty Grandpa" actor continues to call his ex-girlfriend, which is why Butler does not trust Efron.

Butler is allegedly keeping Hudgens from reuniting with Efron because he feels threatened of their previous relationship. An insider told the publication that Butler knows that Efron is Hudgens' first love, which is why he is preventing Hudgens from starring in "High School Musical 4."
