'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 61 Recap: Confusing Timelines Of Black Goku and Zamasu Explained; Black Kills Chi Chi And Gohan

Viewers of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 61 are in for a good surprise as further revelation of Zamasu's and Black Goku are revealed.

Last week, it was revealed that Black Goku is indeed Goku since Zamasu stole Goku's body with the use of the Dragon Balls. However, the setup is still confusing because Zamasu is still alive when he also concluded that Goku and he swapped body. Then Black Goku killed Goku who was inside Zamasu's body.

So who is the Zamasu standing beside Goku? As was also explained on the previous "DBS," the whole gang of "Dragon Ball Super" has different timelines. Every time they alter the past, they also create a different timeline.

The timeline where Zamasu was able to kill Gowasu existed which why Black Goku carries the Time Rings. While in the future timeline, Zamasu was still killed. However, Black Goku was able to go a different Timeline where he met a different Zamasu but still with the same agenda of killing all the mortals.

With the Dragon Balls with them, Zamasu and Black Goku revealed that they wished for Zamasu's immortality. They also wished for the Dragon Balls to be destroyed so no one can make a wish anymore which would also make them the most powerful beings in the universe.

They further explained in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 61 that they went and destroy different timelines and Black Goku even taunt Goku by confessing that he killed Goku, Chi-Chi and Gohan in a different timeline which angered Goku.

However, Goku who was mostly mad at the confession still could not win over Black Goku.

In the last part of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 61, Zamasu and Black Goku was blaming Future Trunks for altering the timeline. They are saying that if he didn't save Goku from his possible death, then Black Goku would not have been created.

Also, Trunks also got mad and was able to transform to a new Super Saiyan form. It would still be a week before we find out if the new transformation is enough to help them survive and probably beat Zamasu and Black Goku in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 61.
