NYCC 2016 Latest News & Updates: Hasbro Reveals Rogue One Figures At New York Con 2016?

With Rogue One: A Star Wars Story scheduled for release on the big screens this coming December, Hasbro revealed new toys and figures of the new Star Wars characters during the New York Comic Con (NYCC) last October 6-9.

According to IGN, Hasbro displayed their Star Wars black Series figures along with the additions from the new Rogue One during their panel in the New York Comic Con. The Black Series figures are six inches tall with High-quality detail and include characters and vehicles from the various Star Wars movies.

Other than Hasbro's Black series figures, up for display were also their 3.75-inch figures. The 3.75-inch are smaller than the premium Black series and not as high-quality when it comes to detail.

Gizmodo cites some of the new Rogue One characters seen during the New York Comic Con included the blind monk Chirrut Imwe, the grumpy Admiral Raddus, and Alliance pilot Bohdi Rook as well as Drth Vader's legion Death Troopers.

Hasbro also unveiled a line of Star Wars: Force Awakens Glactic Heroes Figures. These are cartoonish adaptations of characters and even Vehicles from the Force Awakens. The new Galactic Heroes Figures include Kylo Ren, Fin, and even the famous AT-AT vehicle.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story comes to cinemas on December 16 and would be a spin-off movie from the main Star Wars Saga. Rogue One takes place a few years before Star Wars Episode IV: A new Hope where Luke Skywalker destroys Darth Vader's death star.

Rogue One casts includes Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso, Diego Luna as Captain Cassian Andor, Donnie Yen as Chirrut Imwe, Ben Mendelshon as Orson Krennic, Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera, Spencer Wilding as Darth Vader, and Genevieve O' Reilly as Mon Mothma.

New York Comic Con is the largest Comic Con in New York and brings together comic book and movie fans from all over the country.
