‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7 Release Date, Spoilers & News: Lyanna Mormont Is Returning; The Weapon To Defeat White Walkers Revealed?

"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is expected to see the comeback of Bella Ramsey as the young Lady of Bear Island Lyanna Mormont. Another news surrounding the upcoming season of "Game of Thrones" is the possible weapon that can be used to defeat the White Walkers and it is no other than the Iron Throne.

Fans may be delighted to know that Lyanna will make a comeback on "Game of Thrones" this coming season as confirmed by the photos posted by a Twitter user named PAP4U, WatchersontheWall reported. The images revealed Ramsey in her "Game of Thrones" costume which was reportedly taken during the set of the show in Corbet, Northern Island.

Meanwhile, Jack Gleeson, who portrayed the role of former King Joffrey Baratheon graced the New York Comic Con last week where he revealed a theory on how "Game of Thrones" would end. Interestingly, Gleeson believes that the Iron Throne would be melted down and be used as a weapon against the White Walkers.

Gleeson's "Game of Thrones" theory actually came from an unnamed fan and as he cautioned, it is not a spoiler. This theory, however, seems to make a lot of sense as it can be noted that the Iron Throne is made of Valyrian steel, one of the two materials that can be used to destroy the White Walkers on "Game of Thrones."

As MTV News pointed out, a long winter is coming to the next season of "Game of Thrones" which may cause a decline in the amount of supplies they need for battle, including the supply of Dragonglass, the other material that can be used to kill a White Walker. So, it seems logical for them to just melt the Iron Throne and make use of its Valyrian steel as their last resort to defeat the White Walkers.

"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is reportedly slated to return on HBO in summer 2017. What do you think of the new theory? Let us know in the comments section below.
