NBA Trade Rumors: John Wall Wants Out Of The Wizards? Point Guard Confirms Disagreements With Bradley Beal

Recent rumors claimed that John Wall wants a trade out of the Washington Wizards. The trade is said to happen if the Wizards don't make a comeback to the playoffs this coming NBA season.

Basketball analysts believe that the Wizards' progression was halted due to the injuries sustained by its backcourt stars including Wall and Bradley Beal, Morning News USA reported. Wall played in 78 games but the 26-year-old point guard didn't perform at an All-Star level. Wall underwent surgeries on both knees after the 2015-16 NBA season.

Wall, however, made his preseason debut during the Wizards' match against the New York Knicks on Monday, making eight points, four assists, and three rebounds in his 16-minute game. The Wizards lost to the Knicks 90-88.

It's likely that Wall and the Wizards would persevere through the 2016-17 season, but a trade can happen given that the former talked about his desire to play for a championship contender. The Wizards may be far away from that status even if the franchise has a new coach in Scott Brooks. As of late, Wall is focusing on recuperating from his injuries so he can go back to the All-Star level.

"I just want to go out there and play basketball, If I have an injury and I come back, I don't think about it. I just go play. When you think about it, you don't do well," Wall said, as quoted by The Washington Post.

Brooks, meanwhile, believes that the Wizards highly depend on Wall. The coach said that the team is excited for Wall to make his comeback, adding that Wall made plenty of great work "with the staff over the summer."

Beal, Wall's backcourt partner, recently entered a five-year contract with the Wizards this offseason. However, there are reports that the two aren't getting along and this could force the team to trade one of them.

Wall previously said that he and Beal have "a tendency to dislike each other on the court," adding that he considers Beal as his "sidekick," CBS Local reported. Beal, on the other hand, said that they're both "alphas."

On Monday, Wall once again addressed his relationship with Beal and stressed that they're two competitive players who get into disagreements and dislike each other on the court from time to time. However, this doesn't mean that they aren't fine.
