'Star Wars' Old Republic: Game Trailer Poised To Bag The Trailer Of The Year Award; New Star Wars Expansion Is Coming Out

A new "Star Wars" trailer has been released, but not the actual "Star Wars" Rogue One movie trailer. BioWare released the new trailer for the upcoming "Star Wars" Old Republic expansion. The new "Star Wars" trailer is something that you might not expect from a game trailer.

The Techno Buffalo reported that a new "Star Wars" Old Republic expansion is set to release this December. Known as the Knights of the Eternal Throne, BioWare released a dramatic trailer that it even kicks the official "Star Wars" Rogue One movie trailer.

BioWare's "Star Wars" Old Republic was a success since it was released back in 2011. Born in the massively online multiplayer RPG, the "Star Wars" Old Republic already launched 5 expansions in the past 5 years. BioWare is now set to launch the sixth "Star Wars" Online expansion this December 2nd.

According to the CTV News, the new "Star Wars" Online game trailer entitled The Betrayed, looks to be the trailer of the year. Several fans called it the "Star Wars" movie of the year. The "Star Wars" Online trailer was labeled to as a mini-movie since it runs over six minutes.

The 6-minute "Star Wars" Knights of the Eternal Throne trailer features a brilliant presentation of the new expansion. With some shots held from Luke and Anakin Skywalker stories, overlapping with the Rey and Jyn Erso of the upcoming movie "Star Wars" Rogue One.

The new "Star Wars" online game trailer was even called up better than the actual "Star Wars" Rogue One movie trailer. Movie director Tim Miller, who founded that Blur Studio who created several game trailers and game cinematics was praised for their company's output.

One of the notable products of Blur Studio is the Batman: Arkham Origins back in 2013. Not only that, Tim Miller, Blur Studio's founder was the director of the high-grossed movie Deadpool.
