Ian Somerhalder Nikki Reed Divorce Rumors Continue; Actor Too Busy To Have Kids?

Are Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed following in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's footsteps? Rumors are rife that the happily married couple is having some trouble in their marriage, and could eventually head down splitsville.

While reports of Ian and Nikki's rumored divorce sound more fabricated than true, many are claiming that the reason behind their impending divorce involves their inability to get pregnant as of the moment. As Game N Guide noted, the married pair has been fighting non-stop and it has proven to be more than they both could handle.

However, a Hall of Fame report quickly debunked Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed divorce rumors. The publication noted that both are doing well and are still happily married as evidenced by their recent public appearance at Climate Change event back in September.

When asked about having kids, Ian has been very open to say that he would love to have little bundles of joy soon. The actor told E! News that he's excited to have babies, but is just too busy with "The Vampire Diaries" as of the moment.

"It's the most incredible thing to be happy and secure in something," he said. "It's a pretty crazy time and place to bring a child into this turbulent and insane world -- but I really can't wait to do it and really just love it."

As of writing, Ian is currently busy filming "The Vampire Diaries" season 8. Rumors are rife that his former flame Nina Dobrev could be back to the show to reprise her role.
