‘Pokemon Go’ New Update Goes Live With Five Neat Surprises Players Should Not Miss! Multiplayer Battle Mode Coming Soon?

"Pokemon Go" developer Niantic already released the game update for both Android and iOS platforms. Apart from the recently announced catch bonus and improved gym training system, the developer also delivered an update to the egg and incubator screen, evolution animation time and game audio.

"Pokemon Go" trainers can now perform more evolutions as the new update apparently speeds up the Pokemon evolution time. Previously, it takes 25 seconds to evolve a Pokemon but now, it is suggested to be reduced to 20 seconds.

Another treat from Niantic is the modification of "Pokemon Go's" egg and incubator screen. The screen is now expected to automatically update without requiring players to reset their screen by closing and reopening. Niantic also included some audio fixes along with minor fixes in its recent update. However, the said fixes are not specified in Niantic's blog post.

As previously reported by Parent Herald, the new update will enable "Pokemon Go" trainers to train six Pokemons at once inside friendly gyms. The gym system modification also includes a temporary lowering of opponent's Combat Points during training. Additionally, the update will also implement catch bonus rewards that players can use to capture rare Pokemons.

Meanwhile, Gamespot pointed out that the next "Pokemon Go" update might include the previously teased multiplayer battle system. Speculations emerged that the developers are working on a battling mode where two trainers could play one on one. The rumors broke after the release of "Pokemon Go's" buddy system.

The proposed "Pokemon Go" multiplayer battle system, however, is being considered carefully by the company first. As The Pokemon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara said, "It's important to really carefully consider any feature that may increase the difficulty and raise the barrier to entry for more casual users," Gamespot reported. In the meantime, enjoy the new features carried by the latest "Pokemon Go" update in the video below.
