Amal Alamuddin, George Clooney's Wife, 'Obnoxious' Diva Who Insulted An Iraqi Official?

Somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Or was she just showing her true color? Apparently, George Clooney's wife, Amal Alamuddin, acted up and showed her diva attitude during a meeting with an Iraqi official.

Amal Alamuddin, the wife of "Money Monster" actor George Clooney has been under fire for being obnoxious and for disrespecting an Iraqi official, according to a New York Post report. The lawyer, who appeared to be tone deaf in one point, seemed to lecture the Iraqi ambassador.

Amal Alamuddin requested for the prime minister of Iraq but was not granted. So she met UN Ambassador Mohamed Ali Alhakim as a representative instead. During the meeting, Amal Alamuddin brought with her a Yazidi refugee.

Iraqi officials confirm that Amal Alamuddin lectured the UN ambassador on the ISIS matter and said the extremists should pay for what they do. The lawyer even got a little feisty as the conversation moved to the Yazidi people.

The Iraqi official and his team tried to explain to Amal Alamuddin what was really happening and to help her see the bigger picture. But to everybody's surprise, the lady showed that she was not interested with what saying.

The Iraqi ambassador, whose family was killed by Saddam Hussein's followers, got mad at Amal Alamuddin for being close minded and insensitive and for making it sound like the Yazidi people are the only ones affected. "This is highly insulting. This is very unacceptable," the official said.

What is worse is that after the meeting, all the delegates went to the lobby. Without their knowing, Amal Alamuddin brought with her TV crew, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry.

Apparently, Amal Alamuddin wanted to interview the ambassador in front of the camera. What is more alarming is that this broke the protocol. Though Amal Alamuddina and the crew were escorted outside the building and was not able to interview the ambassador, an official expressed disappointment the actions of George Clooney.
