'Longmire' Season 6 Renewal Update: New Season Confirmed? Will Include A Time Jump?

"Longmire" is one of the popular American crime drama TV series today. Unfortunately, the fate of "Longmire" Season 6 remains unknown. However, reports have it that there's a chance for a possible renewal and "Longmire" Season 6 might arrive with a time jump.

Shows with a good plot and effective actors quickly gain fans, like "Longmire." However, due to some reasons, Netflix has not renewed the series for it sixth run yet. What's the fate of "Longmire" Season 6?

Per Christian Today, "Longmire" fans are already making moves to push the next season of their favorite show. In fact, they keep the hashtag RenewLongmireNetflix to show their support and enthusiasm in bringing Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) back in "Longmire" Season 6.

In addition, "Longmire" fans are encouraging others to participate in their movement called "Stampede" which calls for the renewal of the TV series. However, at the time "Longmire" Season 6 remains unconfirmed.

According to Christian Times, the last season of "Longmire" ended with a cliffhanger involving Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Phillips). The drama in the finale would go to waste if Netflix will not renew "Longmire" Season 6.

However, chances are high that Netflix might announce the renewal of "Longmire" Season 6 next month. "Longmire" Season 5 just ended last month and based on the events last time, it took two months after "Longmire" Season 4 ended when the network confirmed that they are airing its fifth season.

Meanwhile, per Cartermatt, "Longmire" Season 6 might include a time jump for several reasons. First, to fast forward Walt's lawsuit, to address Vic's pregnancy and to nurse Malachi to health after almost getting killed.
