Ben Higgins, Lauren Bushnell Split: ‘The Bachelor’ Couple Keeping Breakup A Secret For The Sake Of Publicity?

"The Bachelor" 2016 couple Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell are currently starring in the Freeform reality show "Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After." While the name of the show implies that the couple is still together, recent reports suggest that the couple is simply keeping their relationship for the sake of publicity.

Lauren Bushnell and Ben Higgins, the couple from the ABC reality series, "The Bachelor," will be starring in their own reality show titled "Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After." While the couple slammed countless breakup rumors, reports suggest that they are only pretending to be engaged for the sake of publicity.

There have been speculations that "The Bachelor" 2016 couple was not able to get past through their issues since the ABC dating show concluded on air. One of their longstanding issues is Higgins' ex and "The Bachelorette" 2017, JoJo Fletcher.

It can be recalled that Higgins had one of the most controversial seasons of "The Bachelor" after declaring his love for both Bushnell and Fletcher. This resulted to a major heartbreak for one of them.

As Celeb Dirty Laundry notes, there have been rumors that Bushnell and Fletcher fought backstage when Bushnell and Higgins appeared at the "After The Final Rose" of "The Bachelorette" Season 12. As Us Weekly reports, Higgins congratulated Fletcher during the event after being engaged to Jordan Rodgers. During the show, Higgins wished her all the best on her engagement to Rodgers.

However, conflicting reports claim that Higgins still is not over his feelings for Fletcher despite the fact that he is engaged to Bushnell. This may explain the reason behind his unsure answers whenever asked about his wedding to Bushnell.
