Actor Russell Crowe In A Fight With Rapper Azealia Banks

Last Saturday night, in a hotel suite in Beverly Hills, actor Russell Crowe was in a fight with rapper Azealia Banks. The altercation ended when the Gladiator actor booted Banks himself out of his suite and had her escorted out of the hotel. However, Azealia Banks took to social media to accuse Russell Crowe of assault.

TMZ reports that the actor Russell Crowe invited ten people and their guests for dinner and to listen to some music. One of the invited guests was the rapper-turned-director RZA who worked with Crowe in the movies, The Man With An Iron Fist and American Gangster. It was RZA who brought along Azealia Banks as his guest.

Multiple witnesses tell TMZ that the trouble started when Azealia Banks laughed out loud at Russell Crowe's music selection, and then called the actor and at least one other guest in foul language. A female guest jumped to Crowe's defense and had asked Banks to mellow down.

However, Azealia Banks aggressively said, "You would love it if I broke my glass, stabbed you guys in the throat, and blood would squirt everywhere like some real Tarantino s***" and dropped a few racial slurs. When the rapper reached for her glass and acted as if to fling it, it was then Russell Crowe had enough and grabbed Azealia Banks in a bear hug and carried her out of the suite. The Gladiator actor then called hotel security that removed Banks from the grounds.

In her Facebook post, Azealia Banks gave a different take on the incident. She accused Russel Crowe of calling her with an n-word. She added that Russell Crowe choked, spat and threw her out. However, the controversial post has since been deleted.

Both Russell Crowe and Azealia Banks are known for their quick tempers. Russell Crowe was in an alleged brawl in Knightsbridge, assaulted a TV executive for cutting his BAFTA speech and threw a cellphone and struck at a hotel clerk. Meanwhile, Azealia Banks has a no-hold's bar approach when it comes to social media. Among her infamous tirades was cursing at Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, a racist and homophobic rant against Zayn Malik, an attack on Disney star, Skai Jackson and calling a Delta flight attendant, "fucking faggot".
