Katy Perry Ready To Have Children With Orlando Bloom? 'Roar' Singer Says Kids Are Becoming A Big Focus For Her

Katy Perry is rumored to be ready to settle down and have kids with her boyfriend, actor Orlando Bloom after she said in a recent interview that kids are becoming a big focus for her. Perry and Bloom have been together for almost a year now and there are no reports confirming that the two are ready to settle down anytime soon.

Perez Hilton reported that Perry was at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles Once Upon a Time gala over the weekend and shared that she has been thinking a lot about children as of late. She noted, "Children to me are becoming a big focus. I don't even have one, but I see it in my sister's kids and just how much nurturing and love they need."

Perry has been spending time at the hospital via their music therapy program. She has been around a lot of children lately and it is possible that she has been thinking about kids because there is so much work that goes into raising a healthy child.

The girlfriend also helped deliver the children of her sister. Her sister has two children and the second baby was delivered just last month, Us Weekly reported. She noted that helping her sister has made her experience what mothers or parents, in general, goes through. She called birth and children amazing and vulnerable things. As for parenthood, Perry said that people have to take care of children and the impression that they leave is really huge adding that it is "such a responsibility."

While it is true that she does not have children of her own, Bloom has a son named Flynn. He is five years old now and the actor shares him with his ex-wife, Miranda Kerr. The 31-year-old singer reportedly met Flynn in the past so it is possible that she might have also been influenced by her boyfriend's son that is why she has been focusing on children as of late.

Bloom is yet to comment. Stay tuned for more Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry updates.
