‘Timeless’ Episode 3 Recap: Lucy Tried Hard To Keep History Intact, Flynn Fled With The Atomic Bomb; Is History In Danger?

"Timeless" Episode 3 followed Lucy Preston, Wyatt Logan and engineer Rufus Carlin as they go back to Las Vegas in 1962. The show's main antagonist, Garcia Flynn, stole the mother ship to go back in the past to steal an atomic bomb. In addition, one of Mason Industries scientists, Anthony Bruhl, was also captured by Flynn to help him in his mission.

The recent episode of "Timeless" saw Lucy, Wyatt and Rufus saving the life of Judith Campbell, John F. Kennedy's mistress. Judith was blackmailed by Flynn to steal the keys to the atomic bomb from JFK. Flynn was successful in getting the bomb and fled with Anthony while the trio was not able to stop them.

Moreover, Rufus discovered that Anthony was not Flynn's victim. He is actually working for Flynn to steal the bomb from 1962. The third episode of "Timeless" ended with a cliffhanger showing Flynn and Anthony digging the bomb in the present timeline.

"Timeless" Episode 3, however, did not leave clues as to why Flynn was after the atomic bomb from 1962. No hints were also given whether he would use the bomb in the present time or will he use it in the past. Additionally, Mason Industries were still not able to track the mother ship as the episode ended, giving them no clues of Flynn's current location.

Meanwhile, Wyatt had his own secret mission as he went back in the past. In this episode of "Timeless," Wyatt was seen sending a future message to his wife, Jessica, who died in their present timeline. Lucy saw Wyatt trying to change the past but surprisingly, she understood why Wyatt had to do it.

"Timeless" Episode 3 also saw a disappointed Wyatt as the trio returned in the Mason Industries lab. Wyatt checked the history on his computer right after landing, only to find out that his wife still died in 2012. Lucy, on the other hand, went home to say goodbye to her fiance and said that she just needed time for herself.
