'Tom Clancy's The Division' Patch 1.4 Updates: Underground, Main Mission Difficulty Solution In The Works

Little by little, everything that Ubisoft has promised for "Tom Clancy's The Division" is finally falling into place. With the fourth week of Public Test Server being wrapped up soon, users of the survival game can now be relieved as the problematic difficulty in several gaming modes is finally being addressed in the 1.4 patch.

The official update site of "Tom Clancy's The Division" assured gamers last week (the gaming giant's third PTS week) that the final PTS week run will be for the reboot of difficulty in Underground Challenge Mode and Main Mission Challenge mode. Ubisoft admitted that there has been an inconsistency about the modes' difficulty level due to the Underground mode not being scaled with group size unlike in the Main Mission.

The issue arose when numerous "Tom Clancy's The Division" PTS players said that the game modes are too easy to win over. But for the record, there are still a few who claimed that it is still hard. Hence, what Ubisoft did for "Tom Clancy's The Division" update is to meet half-way.

Underground Challenge Mode for "Tom Clancy's The Division" will now be influenced by group size in so far as enemy health and damage is concerned. Prior to the change, it was scaled with enemy quantity. Therefore, "Tom Clancy's The Division" players will be encountering more enemies than before.

Looting has been adjusted in order to make the update effective. Dropping random items has been slightly decreased in frequency to ensure that the enemy will loot less.

Gaming Bolt reports that the Public Test Server will be lifted from perusal for good after its Week 3 notes. This is to make way for the launch of the final "Tom Clancy's The Division" 1.4 update.

"Tom Clancy's The Division" PTS has been available for PC users to test the updates and gather reviews from the players. So far, "Tom Clancy's The Division" PTS been overwhelmingly successful, says an official Ubisoft Forum stated per Parent Herald.
