‘Big Little Lies’ News & Updates: HBO Series Stars Reese Witherspoon & Nicole Kidman, Releases A Sexy Trailer

HBO definitely created a buzz for its upcoming miniseries, "Big Little Lies" with the release of the show's first official trailer. Folks who have seen the teaser think the show that will bring Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon together is captivating, steamy, and suspenseful.

An article by E Online said that the sneak peek for "Big Little Lies" succeeds in intriguing the audience by loading it with everything one wants in a trailer without revealing much. Moreover, although the series is tagged as comedy, the first look of the show seems more dark than funny.

 The TV adaptation of a bestselling novel by Liane Moriarty, "Big Little Lies" follows the story of a group of mothers who seem to lead perfect lives. The ideal picture will start to be dangerous as the lives of the main characters intertwined and murder starts taking place.

A Slash Film article notes that this HBO series is produced by David E. Kelley which is also responsible for Ally McBeal and Picket Fences. Aside from playing the central characters in the series, Witherspoon and Kidman are also co-producers of the show.

"Big Little Lies" will feature seven episodes and is set for release in 2017. The impressive cast also includes Shailene Woodley, Zoe Kravitz, Laura Dern,Adam Scott, and Alexander Skarsgard.

With the show gaining positive response just from its teaser, it may be safe to predict that "Big Little Lies" will be a hit. Besides, it's probably safe to expect more from the show, since it includes two Academy Award winners on its cast.
