The Price Is Right Game Show: 3-Way Tie Happens For The First Time In 25 Years!

The price was definitely right when three players of the famed game show, The Price Is Right, spun one dollar on the colorful Big Wheel. In one of the game show's showcase showdowns on Monday's episode, the trio landed on different combinations of $1.

The first player spins the wheel and lands on a 65 dancing her way to the winner's circle. Player two spins and lands on 50 twice to join the first player. The third player takes her turn to spin the wheel and lands on a 70.

The three contestants were obviously stunned with what happened, making them jump wildly while going in for a group hug. The studio audience and the game show viewers were even more dazed sharing their thoughts and excitement on their social media accounts.

The Price is Right host, Drew Carey, pumped his fist after the contestants made history of having the first 3-way tie in 25 years. Anyone who has watched the game show knows how spinning the Big Wheel goes.

When a contestant lands $1 on the wheel without exceeding $1000, he or she gets a chance to spin again. He or she will also receive a cash award of $1000 from the long-running CBS game show.

As for these three contestants, a tie breaker was given by letting them spin one more time. Sadly, only one player gets through the next showcase showdown. Each player brings home $1000.

The game show is now airing in its 45th season. If you want to know more about the game show or be one of their studio audience, grab your tickets here.
