Drew Barrymore Gives Tips On Co-Parenting And Handling Divorce

Drew Barrymore shares her secret to effective co-parenting during an event in Los Angeles on October 15. The Charlie's Angels star was bold enough to tell people her current status after her divorce with former husband, Will Kopelman.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 41-year-old actress said that planning constantly is one of her ways on how to deal with co-parenting with her ex-husband. Having a schedule that they follow as a family works in keeping them intact even though she is no longer with Kopelman.

The former couple was supposed to be celebrating their 4-year-anniversary last August. But despite being divorced, Drew Barrymore said that she maintains being closed with the family of her ex-husband. This helps to not affect their kids' relationship with their relatives on Kopelman's side. It means the world to her that her former mother-in-law is still close to her.

Drew Barrymore was celebrated during the yearly event of the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles called Once Upon A Time Gala in Los Angeles. She is not only a mother these days, because she is also an entrepreneur and a charity ambassador.

People Magazine wrote that despite of Drew Barrymore's hectic schedule as a woman on top of her game, she still makes sure that her family comes first, especially her kids. Just this Halloween alone, she said that they have three dates to attend to celebrate the holiday.

The actress is excited for Halloween that she thinks it is the best day of the year. She likes the idea of wearing a mask and be completely anonymous as a mother, which to her is a lot of fun.
