Kerry Washington Delivers Her Second Baby!

Scandal TV star, Kerry Washington, welcomes a healthy baby boy on October 5 to her family of three. This is her second child with husband Nnamdi Asomugha.

In an article published by E! Online, they said that the couple was known to keep their personal life extremely private that the media is not really aware of further details regarding their child's birth. Kerry Washington was not selfish enough though to not let the public at least know the name of their newborn that is Caleb Kalechi Asomugha. They want their life so private that it was not until May of this year that the press found out that she was expecting a second baby on the way.

CBS added that Kerry Washington's baby bump during the red carpet event at this year's Emmy Awards gave it away that she was pregnant. She was wearing a strapless gown that in a way has emphasized her growing baby bump. Despite of that revelation, she even made a joke of denying it in August during an interview with the press.

The couple has even managed to keep their first child, Isabelle, far from the criticisms of the media. Lots of people would agree with their decision to keep their personal life private, as it helps to keep a family healthy both mentally and physically. Although they are known for this kind of style of living, Kerry Washington was still generous enough to share a tiny bit of her experiences in being a mother and how amazing her journey has been so far.

She told LA Times how extremely blessed she is in being a mother and how her career is going so well. Her pregnancy has got a lot of people wondering if her character on Scandal would be affected by it. Apparently, fans won't be seeing Olivia Pope pregnant on the next season of the show.
