Liam Payne, Cheryl Relationship News: #CongratsLiam Confirms Cheryl's Pregnancy?

Is another One Direction baby on the way? This is what it seemed when 1D fans were in a meltdown on Twitter as #congratsliam trended in the micro-social network. Turns out, it is just another baby rumor that made some of the One Direction fans a bit hopeful.

Glamour Magazine reports that One Direction member, Liam Payne, is rumored to be a baby daddy soon as Cheryl is reported to be pregnant. Some gullible fans thought that the rumor is true, but others were able to trace back the real reason the 23-year-old 1D member is being congratulated.

Apparently, Payne was being congratulated for his newest musical venture. Early this year, Payne revealed that he has signed a contract for a solo record commitment with Capitol Records. This contract came on the heels of his United Kingdom-based boyband's hiatus in 2015.

Now, the real deal is that Payne has signed a contract anew--this time with Republic Records based in the United States, according to E! Online. To his excitement, the hitmaker expressed his gratitude through a tweet which was eventually misconstrued as a congratulatory greeting for his alleged baby with Cheryl.

As the baby rumor "confirmation" swept Twitter like a wildfire last night, the singer was also spotted to be going all the way to Los Angeles, per a Hello Magazine report. Payne shared through an Instagram post that he is on the way for the second round of this writing trip.

Per Daily Mail, the baby rumor started when Cheryl was spotted with a rounded belly for weeks. It was also reported that the couple first met each other during 14-year-old Payne's X Factor solo audition and later on, in 2015 while filming the same singing competition that catapulted Payne to fame.

During the first time the couple met, Cheryl was married to former X Factor UK judge Ashley Cole. Prior to Payne and Cheryl's romance, the "Girls Aloud" hitmaker has been married--and eventually divorced--to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Verisini.
