Robert Downey Jr. And Sarah Jessica Parker Reconnect And Find Closure!

Robert Downey Jr. and Sarah Jessica Parker reconnected in New York. Twenty-four years ago, the two dated for seven years. Downey admitted that his drug and alcohol problem contributed to the demise of their relationship.

While talking to Howard Stern on "The Howard Stern Show", Sarah Jessica Parker spoke about meeting up ex-boyfriend Robert Downey Jr. The "Divorce" star said the experience was really nice and felt completely familiar.

On his appearance on the same show, Robert Downey Jr. expressed his desire to meet up with Sarah Jessica Parker who was once a big part of his life and say hi.

In an interview in Parade, Robert Downey Jr. admitted that his drug and alcohol abuse played a role in his breakup with Sarah Jessica Parker. "The Iron Man" star said that Sarah Jessica tried to help him and was angry when he wasn't able to put his act together. 

"It taught me how I love", answers Sarah Jessica Parker when People asked her what lessons she learned due to her relationship with Robert Downey Jr. The "Divorce" star also said she learned about the difference of loving and taking care of someone and doing what's necessary and what isn't. Sarah Jessica Parker candidly added that she also learned how to balance checkbooks.

Sarah Jessica Parker, currently starring in "Divorce", is a mother to three children; a son and twin girls, and married to Matthew Broderick. On the other hand, Robert Downey Jr. recovered from his drug and alcohol problems after going to jail. The "Iron Man" star is married to Susan Downey and has two children with her. Robert Downey Jr. also has a son from a previous marriage to musician Deborah Falconer.
