‘Madam Secretary’ Season 3 Episode 3 Spoilers & Promo: McCord Family’s Cyber-Stalker Found? Elizabeth In A Standoff

Sunday's "Madam Secretary" episode will find Elizabeth McCord (Téa Leoni) in a tight spot with the Chinese. The McCord family's quest to find their cyber-stalker, meanwhile, continues and Henry (Tim Daly) may have found a new lead.

Last week's "Madam Secretary" episode titled "The Linchpin" showcased the secretary of state embroiled in a supposedly peaceful regime change in Algeria as the threat of civil war approached, Parent Herald previously reported. The political move, however, was shaken when the reliable U.S. Ambassador to Algeria, Roy Curtis (Dakin Matthews), died unexpectedly.

Episode two of "Madam Secretary" also presented a new threat to the McCord couple and their three children -- Stephanie "Stevie" (Wallis Currie-Wood), Alison (Kathrine Herzer), and Jason (Evan Roe). Jason's laptop was stolen and hacked by a cyber-stalker, who warned the McCords that they can be harmed anytime.

In the upcoming "Madam Secretary" episode titled "South China Sea," Henry will drive the FBI to investigate a former student of Elizabeth. Henry believes that this person is the one cyber-stalking his family, CarterMatt reported.

As for Elizabeth's professional woes, she will find herself "in a stalemate with the Chinese foreign minister as she lobbies" for the release of U.S. environmental activists. The protesters were arrested for spying after they objected to China damaging a South China Sea reef.

President Conrad Dalton (Keith Carradine), on the other hand, will embark on a trade visit to Vietnam. While there, the president will recall the time he spent in the country during the war.

Details were also revealed about episode five of "Madam Secretary" Season 3. In the episode titled "The French Revolution," a state dinner between the United States and France will be jeopardized after a CIA operative was caught by French Intelligence, Spoiler TV reported. Elizabeth must negotiate for the operative's release during the event.

Russell Jackson (Željko Ivanek), meanwhile, will attempt to persuade huge donors back to Dalton's campaign. Also, the McCords will come upon an important lead about their family's cyber-stalker.
