One site explained that the "The Winds of Winter" scribe could be using an old-fashioned way in saving his work. However, other explained that while the New Mexican author is old-fashion he actually uses a DOS word processor to automatically save his "TWOW" progress to a remote server.

This report only intensifies the claims that George RR Martin is quitting "A Song of Ice and Fire." Fans have been expressing their concern about the fate of "The Winds of Winter" and "A Dream of Spring." GRRM is not getting any younger and many fear that the "ASOIAF" writer will pass away without giving his fans the closure of the epic story he started.

Meanwhile, there are rumors that "ASOIAF" fans are planning to boycott HBO's popular series "Game of Thrones."
