'Nintendo Switch' Reveal Trailer Shows New Super Mario And Mario Kart Games; Other New Games Revealed For Nintendo's New Console

Nintendo has now revealed the project NX and as it is now announced as the "Nintendo Switch." Along with the revelation of the "Nintendo Switch" are the notable games that would come along, one of the biggest titles around is the latest Super Mario and Mario Kart games.

The Business Insider reported that in the 3-minute trailer of the Nintendo Switch, we might see numerous games featured for the "Nintendo Switch." There are 2 Mario games shown in the Nintendo Switch trailer, a Super Mario in 3rd person and a new Mario Kart.

These 2 Mario games will be the 22nd and 23rd games in the series. The last "Mario" game that is set to release this December 2016 is the Super Mario Run which is available only on smart devices such Android and iOS.

In a report made by the Gamespot, the Super Mario that was shown in the trailer of the "Nintendo Switch" was in 2 settings. As the woman playing in the "Nintendo Switch" trailer, Mario is seen jumping, in a village set while the other was in a desert setting.

Recently, Shigeru Miyamoto the creator of Mario said that a Super Mario and a new Pokemon game will be released in the first six months from the launch of the "Nintendo Switch." As of the moment, no further details of the release dates of those mentioned games.

Mario is one of the longest running game series of all time and has been an icon in the game-world until today. It was first seen in the game called Donkey Kong back in 1981, until Shigeru Miyamoto decided to create his self-titled game in 1985.

The name "Mario" was derived from the Nintendo Warehouse landlord named Mario Segale. Segale angrily knocks at the door and was asking for the payment of the rent, while Miyamoto was working on Donkey Kong during that time. When Segale left the room the Nintendo team decided to rename the character from Jumpman to Mario.
