'Battlefield 1' Release Date, News & Update: Game Takes World War I Setting; Better Than Call Of Duty?

Fans of the "Battlefield" franchise cannot wait for the fifteenth installment of the game, "Battlefield 1". This upcoming FPS video game is the first main entry in the franchise after the "Battlefield 4" which was released in 2013. "Battlefield 1" is developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts and it is also the first World War I video game published by the said company.

Similar to the other games in the "Battlefield" series, it is a first-person shooter that gives value to teamwork. Since "Battlefield 1" is set during the World War I, it is to be expected that the weapons that were used at that time are going to be in the game, for instance, are bolt-action rifles, automatic and semi- automatic rifles, flamethrowers, artillery and mustard gas.

"Battlefield 1" features new melee weapons like sabres, trench clubs and shovels will also be introduced in the game. Armored vehicles like armored trucks, light and heavy tanks, biplane aircraft, battleship and zeppelin can also be used by the player. Not to mention, they can also ride a horse.

"Battlefield 1" will be out on October 21 and EA, the developer, had already released the prices for the game's version on different consoles including PS4, Xbox One and PC. PC Advisor further reminded that the players of "Battlefield 1" cannot be able to ban or kick other players of the game even if they are the ones who own the server. But the company is trying to work on the said feature since many fans of the game are requesting for it.

VG247 stated that the customization of the weapon loadouts will be available as soon as the game will be stable since fans are really concerned about this particular feature. For the time being, "Battlefield 1" players are only able to customize a loadout during a match or utilize the game's companion app or site.
