Shannen Doherty Charms Her Breast Cancer Battle with Chemo and Dance Workout

Actress, producer and TV director Shannen Maria Doherty, 45, who portrayed Brenda Walsh in the Beverly Hill's 90210 series, is gorgeously fighting her cancer with chemotherapy and a dance workout.

Doherty, who also played Prue Halliwell in Charmed in the late nineties, posted on Instagram on October 21, showing her black-and-white picture in a hospital bed.

The actress had also continuously told social media about her fight against cancer, including a video on IG showing her trip to the gym 24 hours after a chemo session and a photo from Sarah Michelle Gellar-Prinze.

Gellar originally posted their picture also on Instagram, paying tribute to her Charmed co-star and friend during the International Breast Day on October 19. Doherty re-posted their photo, extending her gratitude and love, stating how her friends help her battle against cancer.

In September, Doherty uploaded a picture of herself inside a hyperbaric chamber suggested by her reconstructive doctor, Dr. Jay Orringer.

She quotes, "The future of cancer treatment should include things like this and covered by insurance so we all can choose methods like this if we want.#fightlikeagirl #su2c"

Doherty serves as an inspiration to co-cancer patients. She has shown support to an anti-anti cancer campaign in Los Angeles as she walked her way on the red carpet while rocking a Stand Up to Cancer shirt in September.

On an earlier interview on ET, Doherty describes how cancer has given her strange yet amazing things.

She adds, "It's allowed me to be more me, like much more in touch with who I am, and much more vulnerable and the person that I always was, but I think it got hidden behind a lot of other stuff."

The actress-producer-director was diagnosed in February 2015 with cancer and started her chemotherapy in July, which according to her doctor is almost complete.
