Tom Cruise Producing 'Top Gun 2' Under Scientology Movie Studio? Katie Holmes’ Ex Easing Out of Hollywood?

Katie Holmes' ex, Tom Cruise updated fans on "Top Gun 2" and Scientology stance. While fans of Katie Holmes' ex are excited to journey the skies with Maverick, will Tom Cruise producer "Top Gun 2" under his new Scientology banner?

Radar Online alleges that Tom Cruise spoke up for Scientology when asked about the documentary "My Scientology Movie" by Louis Theroux. According to the media outlet, Tom Cruise stated that if he never went into Scientology, Katie Holmes' ex would not be where he is now.

Tom Cruise also allegedly took the time to reveal that he is a proud member of Scientology. Katie Holmes' ex expressed that Scientology helped him massively in his life.

Interestingly, Entertainment Weekly reports that Tom Cruise admitted to discussing "Top Gun 2" with Jerry Bruckheimer, who produced "Top Gun." Tom Cruise became a household name after successfully playing Maverick in "Top Gun" in 1986.

Four years after "Top Gun" was released, Tom Cruise met and became friends with Church Of Scientology leader David Miscavige as Parent Herald cites. Tom Cruise from then on became the face for the Church Of Scientology.

In a separate story, Parent Herald cites The Daily Mail in reporting that the Church Of Scientology recently launched the new Scientology Media Productions. The report says Tom Cruise will be producing his film projects under the banner of Scientology Media Productions.

Will Scientology Media Productions buy the rights to the "Top Gun" franchise from Paramount Pictures? Could Tom Cruise then line up "Top Gun 2" as one of his new film releases under Scientology Media Productions?

Whether or not "Top Gun 2" happens with Scientology Media Productions or with Paramount Pictures, the fact remains that a sequel by Tom Cruise is not too far off. Are you for another run with Katie Holmes' ex in "Top Gun 2" and would have any objection to Tom Cruise producing "TG2" under Scientology Media Productions?
