Nintendo’s ‘Super Smash Bros’ Played By A Blind Gamer During Weekend Tournament, Wins The Crowds Respect

BlindWizard, as his name suggests, is a visually impaired gamer who competed in the recently concluded "Brotherly Love XVI," a Super Smash Bros. exclusive competition.

Although defeated in the match, BlindWizard won the crowd by showing everyone his mad skills, as highlighted by video game authority Eventhubs, saying, "He managed to get in some pretty nice followups. As he landed hits on his opponent, the audience would cheer for him from time to time."

For those who are not familiar with the Nintendo Wii-U exclusive game, it's basically a collection of famous video game characters packed into one game and do a one on one fighting or a rumble in a ramp/ring suspended in mid-air. Some of Super Smash Bros. characters are from Nintendo's classic games like Mario and Luigi from "Super Mario Bros," Link from the "Legend of Zelda," "Donkey Kong" from "Donkey Kong," Pikachu from "Pokemon" and other cross platform characters from other games like Ryu from "Street Fighter," Cloud from the "Final Fantasy VII," Bayonetta from "Bayonetta" and Shulk from "Xenoblade" to name a few.

Super Smash Bros. has been one of the most played and competed fighting game created by Nintendo. Tournaments span from different parts of the globe boasting one of the biggest community/following in the industry, the biggest prize pool for a single competition based on the report published by EsportsEarnings.com was $32,000, given last Nov. 8, 2015, in Los Angeles, California, during the Smash Summit, which was also an exclusive Super Smash Bros. E-Sports event.
