"Teen Wolf" Season 6 spoilers reveal that fans should brace themselves for dark moments ahead. In an interview with AOL, actor Tyler Posey, who plays the role of Scott McCall in the series, teased that there will be some darkness in the upcoming season of the MTV series.

While Season 5 seemed to be quite dark with its storyline, Posey teased that "Teen Wolf" Season 6 will be a perfect balance of comedy and darkness. What made fans worry, however, is Posey's statement about the level of darkness the storyline will have next season.

"But year, we're always kind of toyed with adding comedy with a darkness and we do that this season, too," he shared. "But the happiness doesn't last too long."

It can be recalled that "Teen Wolf" Season 6 will be dealing with new villains - the Ghost Riders and Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) will be one of their victims. Speaking of O'Brien, many fans are wondering whether he will be returning for the production of the second half of the show.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 cast will join the PopFest, which will be held in Los Angeles. Posey will be attending alongside Cody Christian, Dylan Sprayberry, Shelley Henning and others.

It remains to be seen whether O'Brien will be joining the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 cast in the event on Oct. 30. O'Brien has not been seen on the set of the MTV series since he sustained injuries on the set of "Maze Runner: The Death Cure."
