‘Madam Secretary’ Season 3 Episode 4 Spoilers & Promo: McCord Family Stalker Put Aside? Dalton Administration Criticized

Episode four of "Madam Secretary" Season 3 will once again feature Elizabeth (Téa Leoni) trying to defend the Dalton administration from criticisms. The McCord family stalker, meanwhile, will be put to the sidelines in the meantime now that Henry's attention is being demanded by his professional duties as well.

The upcoming "Madam Secretary" episode titled "The Dissent Memo" will showcase President Conrad Dalton (Keith Carradine) coming "under criticism by the Bureau of African Affairs for their lack of attention to the upcoming Angolan election," TV.com reported. It's up to Elizabeth to quell fears over the state of affairs.

Russell (Zeljko Ivanek), on the other hand, will need a hand in getting President Dalton on the ballot in Ohio. The upcoming "Madam Secretary" episode will also feature Henry (Tim Daly) and Jose (Carlos Gómez) getting themselves "one step closer to locating the antiquities stolen by Hizb al-Shahid," TV.com added.

It seems like the McCord family would not know the identity of their cyber stalker anytime soon, given that both Elizabeth and Henry are embroiled in pressing matters in their jobs. The couple and their three children, Stephanie "Stevie" (Wallis Currie-Wood), Alison (Kathrine Herzer), and Jason (Evan Roe), are being threatened by a hacker and this has pushed them to get security detail and ask for FBI Director Keith Doherty's (Michael Boatman) assistance in getting to the bottom of things, Parent Herald previously reported.

Tonya Pinkins guest stars as Susan Thompson -- the assistant secretary for the Bureau of African Affairs -- in episode four of "Madam Secretary," CarterMatt reported. "The NFL Today" and "Thursday Night Football" host James Brown is appearing in the episode as well as himself.

Last week's "Madam Secretary" episode was extra emotional due to President Dalton reliving his challenging past in Vietnam during the war. Despite his hardships back then, it was inspiring how he managed to pull through and turn his experiences in the country into something positive, according to a separate report from CarterMatt.

Episode three of "Madam Secretary" titled "South China Sea" also showed how important it is for the president and Elizabeth to remain united when confronted by hard times or risk being overpowered by opposite parties. Details of the series' future episodes were also revealed. Episode five titled "The French Revolution" will center on how a state dinner between the United States and France gets jeopardized after a CIA operative was caught by French Intelligence, Spoiler TV reported.

Watch a promo for "Madam Secretary's" upcoming episode below. It airs on Sunday, Oct 30 at 9:00 PM on CBS.
