'Steven Universe' Season 4 News & Update" New Season Canceled? NO! Showrunner Confirms Show Will Return And Will Feature A Younger Greg

"Steven Universe" is reportedly no longer having a Season 4 as the Cartoon Network show was placed on hiatus. The creator of "Steven Universe" addressed the reports while other rumors claim that the Cartoon Network show will feature a younger Greg.

For the cancellation rumors, Christian Daily reported that "Steven Universe" was in the middle of Season 4 when the show took a break. Fans believed that "Steven Universe" got cancelled because fans never got a warning that there will be a hiatus. "Steven Universe" may be an animate show but the topics are quite sensitive and aims to educate children.

Accordingly, the creator of "Steven Universe" faced censorship problems with Cartoon Network making the cancellation rumors all the more hyped. Sugar talked about the censorship problems over "Steven Universe" during her appearance at the New York Comic Con. She shared, "There have been fights. I try to be very emphatic about what I wanna do, and why I wanna do it, and I've been very lucky."

She then went on to say what fans of "Steven Universe" want to hear. Sugar said that "Steven Universe" Season 4 will continue and the next episode will be about Rose Quartz.

The relationship of Lapis and Peridot will also be the focus of "Steven Universe" when it comes back to Cartoon Network. In the previous episode of "Steven Universe," Peridot and Lapis brought out the absolute worst in each other and there will be a lot of things going on when the show comes back for the continuation of "Steven Universe" Season 4.

As for Greg being presented as a younger version of himself on "Steven Universe" Season 4, Christian Today reported that in connection to Rose being feature in the upcoming episodes, it is rumored that her relationship with Greg before having Steven will also be shown. An episode entitled "Three Gems and A Baby" will reportedly be where the life of Rose and Greg before Steven will be featured.
