"Young Justice" Season 3 has been highly anticipated since the animated series started airing on Netflix. However, the streaming giant has not given a green light to the production of "Young Justice" Season 3 yet. Will fans still see a new season of "Young Justice" in the future?
"Young Justice" could still be renewed for another season if its viewership numbers on Netflix will increase to 300,000 every month, FX News Call reported. Netflix is still not satisfied with the numbers "Young Justice" is getting so the company has not ordered a third season yet. It remains to be seen whether "Young Justice" viewership numbers will still increase that could pave the way for its third season.
"Young Justice" creator Greg Weisman previously announced that he was contacted by Warner Bros. and Netflix regarding a possible third season. He advised fans to re-watch the first two seasons of "Young Justice" on Netflix and to also buy the DVDs and digital comics from Comixology. These, according to Weisman, will help them get the go signal for "Young Justice" Season 3, Movie Pilot reported.
Additionally, fans are excited to see the renewal of "Young Justice" as apart from the current characters in the teen cartoon, there are also plans of adding new characters to the series. The characters are said to be derived from "Teen Titans" roster namely Raven, Starfire and Cyborg. Moreover, it was also teased that "Young Justice" Season 3 may see Jason Todd's death, a man who is believed to be immortal as he only dies temporarily.
To recall, "Young Justice" Season 2 ended with a cliffhanger. In the finale episode, Kid Flash also known as Wally West died while Vandal Savage was revealed to be an enemy and is working for Darkseid. "Young Justice" Season 3 is suggested to pick up where the previous season left off.
"Young Justice" Season 3 hopes are still high especially after the purported increase of its viewership on Netflix. Are you one of the fans who like to see "Young Justice" Season 3? In the meantime, check out a "Young Justice" clip below.
