The venue for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2016 has finally been announced. The officials of Victoria's Secret proclaimed that Paris will be the venue for the 2016 fashion show.

The announcement for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is usually made at least six months in advance, according to TMZ, but the 2016 show is a little different because reports say that officials fear the show may be targeted by terrorists.

In an article by Daily Mail, officials are said to working closely with the French Police and Security agencies to make sure that all who attend will be safe. Officials of the Victoria's Secret 2016 Fashion Show were said to have chosen Paris as the venue months ago but kept it under wraps for fear that terrorist groups such as ISIS might attack the high-profile event.

France has been targeted by terrorists twice in the past year, with 130 people killed last year in Paris, and just recently more than 80 died in the city of Nice following Bastille Day celebrations. Since then, France has been on alert for possible terrorist attacks, and with the Victoria's Secret 2016 Fashion Show attracting many celebrities, the executives of the lingerie empire are on high alert too.

Previous Victoria's Secret Fashion Show models include the likes of Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge and Kylie Jenner, whose sister Kim Kardashian, was also recently the victim of a robbery in Paris.

The lingerie show does not only bring together the most beautiful supermodels in the world, but also some high profile celebrities. Previous fashion shows has been graced by celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Adam Levine and Ed Sheeran.
