'Attack on Titan' Season 2 Updates: Manga Chapter 86 Reveals Eight Clans of Titans, 'AOT' Ride Opening In Universal Studios Japan

One of the most highly anticipated anime series is the "Attack On Titan" Season 2 since its first season ended in 2013. It has been confirmed that the second season could possibly air the soonest. Meanwhile, "Attack On Titan" manga chapter 86 was already released weeks ago teasing about the eight clans of titans.

Chapter 86 discussed the history of the Titans. It revealed that there are eight clans of Titans. Aside from that, it showed how Ymir Fritz also became a Titan while Elodia is hailed as the most powerful Titan at that period of time. In the said chapter, the relationship of Grisha and his father was also featured including how his little sister Fay died due to his stubbornness.

Although the manga version of the anime is continuously released, the anime version faced much delay. After the release of Chapter 86, many fans are hoping that it will be included in "Attack On Titan" Season 2. But this is possible since the anime series creators waited for the manga releases to have a faster pace in creating the anime.

With that, reports indicate that it is possible that its second season will be released in April of 2017 which is still expected to focus on Eren, Mikasa, Armin and Levi. The release of the anime's season 2 had been teased since 2014. It was then speculated for a 2016 release which didn't happen. Fans are hoping that its 2017 release will finally be realized.

Another exciting news for fans of the anime is the opening of an Attack On Titan ride in the Universal Studios Japan, Nerdist reported. It will offer a 4-D experience based on the anime including the Colossal Titan and the Armored Titan. The ride will be part of the theme park from January 13 until June 25, 2017.
