'Frozen 2' Plot, Cast & Release Date: Idina Menzel Replacements Named; Josh Gad Talks About Olaf

"Frozen 2" has still a long way to go, but speculations about the sequel's plot and cast have already surfaced online. Even before the movie was confirmed, fans of the successful Disney animation have already appealed for a follow-up movie, proving that the 2013 movie was truly a global phenomenon.

Details of "Frozen 2" remains to be very limited as of writing. While several reports have already noted that "Frozen" characters Anna, played by Kristen Bell; Elsa, played by Idina Menzel; and Olaf, played by Josh Gad will all return to reprise their roles, it's only actress Kristen Bell who has been actively sharing information about the sequel's progress.

Many have started to speculate that Idina might not return, as several "Frozen 2" rumors have named Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift as possible replacements for the Broadway star. As iTech Post recently reported, Demi could be good choice given her powerful vocal range.

While nothing has been set on stone just yet, actor Josh Gad has a few expectations for his character Olaf in "Frozen 2." As he recently shared, he wants to see Olaf grow while showing audiences how much he has changed since knowing more about the world. "You know, he's so new to the world," Josh said as Cinema Blend reported. "I'd love to see what being around in this world a little bit has taught him, or is teaching him."

Meanwhile, new reports have also started to claim that "Frozen 2" will most probably introduce a King that will win over Queen Elsa's heart. According to Movie News Guide, the central theme for the upcoming movie could be about finding love. As the sisters mature, it would be possible that a love interest for the icy queen could be included in the storyline.
