Gigi Hadid's Stalker Escapes Trial, Sent To Psychiatric Hospital

Gigi Hadid's stalker escapes trial because he is not mentally stable to be put on trial. The court's ruling prompted the 20-year-old catwalk stunner to flee her multimillion-dollar Manhattan apartment.

According to the reports from Refinery29 the 35-year-old self-proclaimed jazz trumpeter, Marcell Porter is mentally unfit to stand trial. Other than the law-enforcements who arrested him, the court psychologist observed that he is very delusional. It was observed that he kept muttering to himself.

The investigators report stated that between June 22 and 29, Porter attempted to break into the model's apartment at least five times. Also, on many occasions, he was seen waiting outside her apartment for hours. There were even times that he left love letters for Hadid.

If that is not creepy enough, Porter has taken his obsession with the social media. He posted "I LOVE U. I KNOW EVERYTHING NOW. WAIT FOR ME SOULMATE," prior breaking in into her Soho apartment. There was even a reported incident that Porter told the building's frontman that Hadid wants to marry him.

Hadid's stalker is currently in the hands of the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene for his psychiatric needs. He will stay in the mental hospital until he is fit to stand the trial. He will be charged with stalking and burglary.

Hadid has denied the allegations that the selling of her 935-square-foot Bowery property was due to the recent incident. Photos of her property are now shown in People Style that it is up for sale for $2.45 million.

Her super-luxe property features floor-to-ceiling windows. It also includes a swanky two-bedroom, two-bathroom pad with all-white interiors. It is said that she needs to give up her beloved apartment and she is currently in the talks with real-estate for a new pad. Another source said that her exclusive boyfriend Joe Jonas is already eyeing for potential new pads.
