Emilia Clarke News: ‘Games of Throne’s Star Celebrates 30th Birthday; Why Is Dora & Spongebob Squarepants Present?

Here is some pleasant news about the gorgeous Emilia Clarke who is best known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in the hit HBO series, "Game of Thrones." Well, the English actress just turned 30 last Oct. 23 and her "Game of Thrones" family will not let the day pass without doing something special for her.

According to a post from Bustle, the actress who looks younger than 30 celebrated her birthday on the set of "Game of Thrones." Even though Emilia Clarke had to work on her natal day; it seems unlikely that she did not have any fun.

In fact, an Instagram photo shared by Esquire's "Sexiest Woman Alive" for 2015 seems to suggest that she had a blast together with her co-stars in "Game of Thrones." The said photo shows Emilia Clarke in her Daenerys costume in between giant cartoon characters, "Dora the Explorer" and "SpongeBob Squarepants." Though it was unclear why the two Nickelodeon characters are present, it suggests that the "Game of Thrones" cast are not afraid to go beyond the norm.

The caption teases that the Instagram birthday post contains spoilers about a brand new 30-year old and Jon Snow's mom. Another post from Elle Magazine reported that Emilia Clarke's friend and co-star Nathalie Emmanuel posted a sweet birthday greeting for her in Instagram.

Aside from her well-loved character in "Game of Thrones," Emilia Clarke also starred in movies such as "Terminator Genisys" and "Me Before You." For effective portrayal as Daenerys Targaryen, Clarke was nominated three times for the Emmy Awards for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category.

So if you or someone you know is about to turn 30, you may want to celebrate it in the "Game of Thrones" fashion by inviting some cartoon characters as well.
