‘The Walking Dead' And 'Supernatural' Crossover News: Everyone’s Waiting For This To Happen!

It can't be denied that shows like "The Walking Dead" and "Supernatural" have a huge following. Fandoms also sprung out about a "The Walking Dead" and "Supernatural" crossover. Well, last October 27, it kind of sort of happened.

"Supernatural" actor Jensen Ackles tweeted "The Walking Dead" actor, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, a pic with a caption, "I found this in the trunk...can I try it out?" Jeffrey Dean Morgan good-heartedly replied with "You weren't supposed to find that." He even chides the "Supernatural" actor about giving his car and his life to him.

Before Jeffrey Dean Morgan started bashing people's heads as Negan in "The Walking Dead", he was John Winchester in "Supernatural". He played Sam and Dean's father who sacrificed himself to save Dean. Jensen Ackles plays Dean Winchester in "Supernatural".

Anything could happen in TV Land, if Mary Winchester, Sam and Dean's mother, can be resurrected in the latest season of "Supernatural", why can't father, John Winchester too? Years back, Jeffrey Dean Morgan has expressed that he'd definitely love to be back to do "Supernatural" even if it was just a cameo.

And with this creepy but adorable Twitter exchange, fans are hoping that a crossover between these two hit shows will happen in the near future. But how will this crossover mesh with the respective show's universe?

In "The Walking Dead", people are fighting a zombie apocalypse and fighting with surviving human factions. If Sam and Dean Winchester of "Supernatural" made a cameo on "The Walking Dead", would that mean that humans will be fighting another kind of undead (vampires? ghouls? ghosts?)? How does Sam and Dean Winchester survive the zombie apocalypse and still fight against the so-called supernatural?

On the other hand, Negan being in "Supernatural" would mean an epic showdown between him and Lucifer. Evil versus evil would the recurring theme and Sam and Dean would just be picking up the pieces trying to save the rest of the world. Or Negan could bring about the zombie apocalypse on "Supernatural", make Sam and Dean "walkers" but there's a twist, the Winchester brothers would rise up as intelligent undead. How cool would that be?
