‘The Fall’ Season 3 Finale Recap: Final Episode Is Gruesome, Bloody And Heartbreaking!; Season 4 In The Works?

Here's a fair warning to the followers of crime series, "The Fall" who are yet to see the final episode of Season 3. Better prepare yourself for the terrifying and heartbreaking ending that has shocked viewers around the world.

One proof of "The Fall's" brutal ending came from Digital Spy which classified it as the most dreadful thing that TV viewers have seen this season, even surpassing the agonizing premiere of Walking Dead Season 7.

"The Fall" Season 3 finale started quietly as fans see DSI Stella Gibson (played by Gillian Anderson) interviewing serial killer Paul Spector (played by Jamie Dornan). In fairness to BBC, the TV issued a warning against violent scenes before the last episode of "The Fall" Season 3 started rolling so fans should have more or less expected it.

Anyhow, Stella Gibson tried to unnerve Spector by insinuating that the serial killer is indeed just pretending to have amnesia. The accusation from Gibson must have snapped Paul Spector's sanity as the calm scene quickly turned drastic and sent fans screaming wildly until the end.

Like a true blue scary killer, Spector jumped from his chair and brutally attacked Stella in the face and chest area. That scene is far from finish as he then turns to police, Tom Anderson (played by Colin Morgan) and breaks the officers' arm.

Afterward, Spector started a riot in the facility where he is detained and went on to murder one of the patients. To complete the heart-stopping ending, Spector decided to take his own life by asphyxiation.

The Season 3 finale of 'The Fall" is supposed to be the conclusion of the series. But with such a traumatizing ending for 'The Fall", fans are hoping that the story will continue for Season 4.

Well, a post from Romper confirms that "The Fall" returning for Season 4 is not unlikely. Sadly, Paul Spector may not be part of the new season if ever.
