'The Vampire Diaries News & Update: 'TVD' Wedding Happening Soon? Caroline Forbes & Stefan Salvatore Engaged!

The "The Vampire Diaries" latest episode entitled "Today Will Be Different" just upped the ante after several revelations plus a very special and romantic scene. Steroline-shippers are you ready? Stefan Salvatore and Caroline Elizabeth Forbes aka Steroline just got engaged!

The seven seasons of the famous show "The Vampire Diaries" presented a number of milestones on which vampires celebrate despite being accursed. If you must know, vampires do not get hitched very often but "The Vampire Diaries" changed that after Stefan Salvatore asked Caroline Forbes' hand into marriage.

Deaths and other thrilling cliffhangers are just some of the usual endings for series like "The Vampire Diaries" but not this episode; although one character died - Sarah Salvatore. The proposal was the sweetest gesture in the entire run of "The Vampire Diaries".

How did the proposal go? Caroline was just moving in with Stefan when he popped the question.

Stefan Salvatore showed Caroline Forbes a present by directing her to an antique dresser after he made bunk beds for Caroline's kids. What was on the dresser?

It's the little velvet box with an engagement ring! Stefan started his romantic speech saying 'You are my family now'.

The timing was just right, the music was definitely on cue and for sure the viewers just fell off their seats while watching this episode.

Can the Steroline fans celebrate now? Yes, for now...
