‘Suits’ Season 6 Spoilers: Who’s Returning For Season 7? Darvey Handholding Is ‘Big’ Intimate Step; Hurdles In Louis/Tara Wedding?

Speculations about the future of "Suits" continue to circulate as rumors claim that more regulars would depart the legal drama. Gina Torres, who portrayed Jessica Pearson, bid goodbye in the first half of the USA series' Season 6 and fans fear that other cast members -- specifically Gabriel Macht -- would follow in her footsteps.

"Suits" creator Aaron Korsh, however, assured viewers that no regular cast member will leave the show -- at least for now. In an interview with Deadline in September, Korsh said that all regulars are renewed through Season 7. Of course, what would happen beyond Season 7 is still unknown at this point.

The first half of "Suits" Season 6 ended on a hopeful note for all characters. Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) and Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle) can finally push through with their wedding after it got canceled due to the former's incarceration; Louis (Rick Hoffman) proposed to Tara (Carly Pope), and Jessica went away with Jeff Malone (D.B. Woodside) to Chicago. But what gained the biggest buzz from the "Suits" community is probably Harvey (Macht) and Donna's (Sarah Rafferty) handholding scene.

Before episode 10 of "Suits" Season 6 ended, Donna approached Harvey in his office and asked him if he's going to be okay now that his mentor left. Harvey told Donna that he will be alright but that doesn't mean that he wants to be alone that night. To comfort him, Donna stayed behind and that's when they silently held each other's hands.

In a recent appearance on Your Morning, Rafferty said that Harvey and Donna's handholding scene on "Suits" Season 6 "was a lot" and was a "big" step for the two. Harvey and Donna slept together a decade ago but that road to a possible romance was halted because of Donna's rule of not dating men that she works with.

Donna's rule could change in the remaining episodes of "Suits" Season 6. Korsh said that Harvey and Donna's handholding will have an "aftermath" and it's certainly "a small step forward in the evolution of their relationship," Deadline further reported. Korsh told TVLine in September that Harvey and Donna's handholding scene was "an intimate moment" and it was proof of them "deepening their intimacy with each other."

Louis and Tara, meanwhile, would have to work through some issues on upcoming episodes of "Suits." At the forefront of that is Tara's ex, Joshua, the father of her unborn child, according to CarterMatt.

Should Harvey and Donna pursue a romantic relationship? Are Louis and Tara moving too fast? Share your thoughts below. "Suits" will resume Season 6 in January 2017.
