Rihanna and Drake Break Up Update: Nicki Minaj Helping The Rapper Move On

Rihanna and Drake have split earlier this month, and apparently "Starships" singer Nicki Minaj has been helping Drake move on from the breakup. Though some say that the reason for the break up was due to busyness and conflicts in their schedule. Drake was apparently not faithful to Rihanna during their relationship.

Drake is being linked to Instagram model Dakota Gonzales, but also to rapper Nicki Minaj, who Hollywood Life reports, is actually helping him move on from the breakup. But sources say that Drake is the one who feels really attached to Nicki Minaj, who is in a relationship with Meek Mills.

Drake calls Minaj all the time and really sought comfort from his break up with Rihanna. Maybe he is hoping that Minaj and Mills will break up for good so he can have his chance?

Drake apparently enjoys the attention Minaj showers on him. Nicki tends to spoil Drake and even calls him pet names. This did not sit well with "Disturbia" singer Rihanna, who confronted Drake, which eventually led to their break up. Rihanna and Drake were reportedly already planning a Tuscan-style wedding in Malibu, but instead of pushing through with that, the on-off couple parted ways instead, according to Headlines and Global News.

The ex-couple is still in contact, though, and Riri was even invited to Drake's birthday celebration last month, although the singer opted not to attend because she was shooting a movie.

They did seem to take to Instagram though, to air out what they might be feeling about the breakup. Rihanna posted that since none of her exes are in happy relationships, then the problem is not with her. Drake responded in return about praying for someone in their darkest time, and many are saying that it is for Rihanna.

While Rihanna is said to be vacationing with friends and family in Barbados to get over the breakup, Drake seems to find spending time with Minaj as the perfect antidote to his broken heart.
