'Skylanders Academy' Spoilers: Crash Bandicoot Appears On Netflix Show Speaking In An Australian Accent

Good news for all fans of Crash Bandicoot, the famous character will soon appear on television, and it will feature the Crash Bandicoot actually speaking in an Australian accent.

A video from a YouTube user named pix pinguino shared Crash Bandicoot in "Skylanders," showing evidence that the character actually speaks. Crash Bandicoot appears in the eleventh episode of the "Skylanders Academy," which is titled "Crash Landing."

"After Crash Bandicoot is somehow transported into their world, the 'Skylanders' have to help him get home by finding a dark relic," the description of the episode reads.

The clip also shows Crash Bandicoot having trouble with Dr. Cortex before he was transported into the world of "Skylanders." When Crash Bandicoot finally gets into the action, one of the characters noted that there is a mysterious song heard in the background. This makes it all the more interesting to watch the rest of the scenes but since it can only be viewed on Netflix, it is the only option to do.

It could be recalled that Crash Bandicoot was also a guest character in the "Skylanders Imaginators." Therefore, his appearance in "Crash Landing" may not come as a surprise anymore, at least for the fans who have been following the character's whereabouts.

Some fans who are hoping that Crash Bandicoot will have a comeback in the gaming industry got disappointed especially when the game was mentioned at this year's E3. It turned out that Crash Bandicoot will have a cameo role, but CinemaBlend noted that Crash Bandicoot's appearance on Netflix and on the "Skylanders" game may mean that the game is just prepping for the right time to return.

"Skylanders Academy" is Activision Blizzard Studios' first Netflix original series that is inspired by "Crash Bandicoot" video game. The showrunner of the show is writer Eric Rogers, who is also known for making "Futurama" a hit TV show.
