This article contains spoilers. Read on if you want to learn more about the details of this story.

"Supernatural" Season 12 spoilers reveal that fans have not seen the last of some of their favorite characters who previously left the show. In an interview with Jared Padalecki, the actor revealed that Mary Winchester is not the only returning character this season, reports Comicbook.

Padalecki teased that characters, especially those that were portrayed effectively by the actors, have always been a treat for the cast. Therefore, it would be pleasing for them to see these characters return in "Supernatural" Season 12.

"I will say there are plans this season to bring back a few of those, so stay tuned," he said.

As most fans can recall, "Supernatural" Season 12 featured the return of Mary years after Dean saw her be engulfed in flames. The publication notes on the possibility that John Winchester, their father, will be the one to return next.

However, Jeffrey Dean Morgan was the actor who played John in the series. Morgan is currently busy playing Negan in "The Walking Dead," so it might be quite impossible to see him in "Supernatural" Season 12.

This may, however, play a huge role with the recent events from "Supernatural" Season 12. As Buddy TV reports, Mary recently decided to leave the Winchester brothers in the episode titled "The Foundry."

According to the publication, Mary decided to leave the show because she needed to take a break from hunting. This led to speculations that Mary will be returning to "Supernatural" Season 12 soon, but this time, she will be with John.
