'Nintendo Switch' News And Updates: New Nintendo Console Price To Be Announced; Initial Game Lineup Revealed

No deeper information about the "Nintendo Switch" has been released by the company as of the moment as everything else is set to announce in January of 2017. Details about the new "Nintendo Switch" announcement was teased which is the price and the upcoming game lineup.

The Digital Spy released a report showing that the Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima has something to offer while waiting for the announcement of the "Nintendo Switch" next year. Kimishima mentioned that the price for the upcoming "Nintendo Switch" will be revealed along with the game that will come along the release date.

Going back in 2012, the Wii had an initial price of $250 as per the Gamespot, while the 3DS portable video game device was about $180 during the release. With these numbers, we might be able to guess the price range of the upcoming "Nintendo Switch" according to the current market.

As for the game lineup, the Game Rant said that Kimishima claims that there are several third-party game developers who are excited to work with the "Nintendo Switch" once it is released. This means that the opportunities of the "Nintendo Switch" will then seem to be infinite.

A few months ago, the Nintendo NX was announced to tie up with the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Breathe of the Wild. Because of that, the "Nintendo Switch" now has a confirmed title that will come out along with it. During the first "Nintendo Switch" trailer, Mario, Mario Kart, Splatoon and Skyrim were showcased as those titles were confirmed to come out. The NBA 2K17 is still in talks though it was previewed in the trailer.

In addition, in the previous report, Tatsumi Kimishima open up about the future "Nintendo Switch" VR support. Kimishima stated that though the core-technology of the "Nintendo Switch" is now done, they can still find a way to make a VR support if the demand comes in.
