'xXx 3: The Return of Xander Cage' News & Update: Vin Diesel Is Back To Lead The Action-Packed Film

"xXx 3: The Return of Xander Cage" just released a new trailer and it definitely upped the excitement for the third installment of the "xXx" franchise. With Vin Diesel taking the lead, this action-packed film should certainly be on the list of moviegoers looking for some great adrenaline-pumping scenes.

In the third film of the "xXx" franchise, Vin Diesel returns on as the titular character extreme athlete Xander Cage in "xXx 3: The Return of Xander Cage.", according to Cinema Blend. As some fans might remember, the plotline of the franchise moved towards a whole new story for the second film xXx: State of the Union in 2005. But now, the extreme sports enthusiast is back and he comes with a whole new team of "the good, the extreme, and the completely insane".

According to Collider, in the "xXx 3: The Return of Xander Cage", the extreme sports professional Xander Cage returns after a long sabbatical and once again recruited by the US Government to recover a device that controls military satellites known as Pandora's box. Cage and his team will have to chase after warrior Xiang and his group in order to retrieve the deadly weapon. But in the midst of their mission, Cage will find themselves caught in a conspiracy they might be ready for.

Directed by "I Am Number Four" D.J. Caruso, the cast of "xXx 3: The Return of Xander Cage" includes Samuel L. Jackson returning as NSA Agent Augustus Eugene Gibbons, Chinese martial artists Donnie Yen as Xiang, Indian film actress Deepika Padukone as Serena Unger, Thai martial artist Tony Jaa playing as Talon and "The Vampire Diaries" Nina Dobrev in the role of Rebecca Clearidge.
