'NCIS New Orleans' Season 3 Updates: Will Zoe McLellan Be Back?

After Agent Meredith Brody (Zoe McLellan) left the show, "NCIS New Orleans" season 3 has reportedly been experiencing some low ratings.  Critics are convinced that removing a beloved character from the storyline without tying loose ends is the reason for the low ratings. Fans are worried of the possibility that Agent Meredith Brody will not be returning.

Some of the fans are beginning to accept the fact that Agent Brody will no longer be part of the New Orleans team. With the premier of "NCIS New Orleans" season 3, Zoe McLellan was nowhere in sight, leading to some negative reactions from the fans. Supporters of the actress questioned the people behind the series why they would remove her from the cast.

The "NCIS New Orleans" executives responded to the question, expressing that it was a "creative decision" to discontinue the character of Zoe McLellan. But the answer created more speculations as to why McLellan left the show. There are rumors that the actress demanded higher pay, in which the executives refused to give. As a result of their disagreement, McLellan refused to renew her contract and decided to leave the team.

Her social media account, however, is contradictory to the rumors. The actress mentioned that she is grateful to be part of the NCIS New Orleans and hopes the best for the cast members. As a matter of fact, her social media is overflowing with positive messages.

Fans are wondering what happened that made Agent Brody pack up. In "NCIS New Orleans" season 2, Agent Brody had a relationship with Homeland Security Agent John Russo. Agent Russo was a spy of the terrorist that is planning to attack the city. Despite the fact that Agent Brody and Pride's team stopped the attack just in time, Brody's integrity and judgement is in question.

Brody left to avoid damaging the integrity of the whole "NCIS New Orleans" team with her mistake. The show runners believe that Agent Brody is already compromised and that they have to let her go. Fans disagree, saying that there are a lot of loose ends to fix, while some supporters are saying that Agent Brody must be given a chance to redeem herself instead of just erasing her.
