Jake Gylenhaal Outwits Ellen DeGeneres; Host Dares to Take Jake’s Shirt Off

There's no second chance for Ellen DeGeneres.

Jake Gyllenhaal braved to guest again on "The Ellen Show" Tuesday. Since it's past Halloween, he knew he might get scared again so he immediately looked behind the same table as he sat down on the stage.

He said he has not been back for a little while and he was so terrified the last time he guested. Ellen DeGeneres had the clip in 2014 played, showing how Jake got so scared when a guy in a horrifying Goldilocks costume jumped out of the corner table.

Ellen shared her intent to scare Jake Gyllenhaal the second time when she hid in the bathroom's dressing room, thinking that Jake would walk in. Ellen said that she tried to get Jake scared, but he never came in there. In the video clip which Ellen had the tech guys play, Ellen was sitting right in the corner of the dressing room's bathroom waiting for Jake Gyllenhaal. Moments later, she stood up and went to the door in dismay as Jake did not walk in the bathroom.

Jake exclaimed, "Yes! I knew it!" It was like a sweet defeat of Jake on Ellen.

Jake thought that the prank was already over, but, he got surprised when he learned that his microphone was not working. The tech guys came immediately on stage and inserted the microphone under his garment. Jake said, "Oh, this is the part where you take off my clothes." The crowd screamed in awe as the tech guys continued to insert the lapel mic in his shirt. The tech guy came closer down his lower part and he exclaimed, "Ohh, that's not the mic, man!" The crowd laughed louder.

Jake Gyllenhaal shared with Ellen DeGeneres and the audience his new movie. Jake stars with Amy Adams in a film written and directed by fashion designer turned director Tom Ford. The movie "Nocturnal Animals", according to Euro News, is Ford's psychological thriller where a gallery owner thinks that her ex-husband's violent novel is a threat and a symbolic revenge story.

Ellen DeGeneres said that she has seen the movie and she thinks that Jake Gyllenhaal should be nominated for the Oscars for his role. She dared Jake to take his shirt off when he comes back to the show if he gets nominated.
