Jaime King Baby Photos: Jaime, Kyle Newman Welcome Second Child, Taylor Swift's Godchild Is A Boy! [Pic]

The news of the birth of the second baby for Jaime King and husband Kyle Newman first made it to fans and followers via social media. According to Hollywood Life, the couple chose to announce the arrival of Baby No 2 by posting a picture of the actress with her family in Instagram. While this is the second time the duo become parents, the birth of their son marks a first in the life of Taylor Swift.

Posting a photo of herself alongside Newman and their first child, James Knight Newman, the "Hart of Dixie" star appeared to be cradling a newborn baby. Donning a white robe, the actress looks half-naked with her hubby sitting beside her and their toddler son playing in his lap. Judging from the background and the other details captured in the shot, the photo might have been taken in the hospital. King captioned the Instagram photo with, "We are SO happy to welcome to the world our new baby boy! Born Thursday, July 16th! Xx"

Prior to this momentous event, King once again made headlines when an ecstatic Swift announced on social media that she has been chosen by the then expecting couple as the godmother of their second child. Posting a photo of herself with a very pregnant King, the "Shake It Off" star could not conceal her pride and glee over the fact that she will be playing a very important role in the life of the child. She then captioned the photo with, "Guess who just got named Godmother of this little one..... (ME)." At the moment, no news on the godfather has been revealed. As for Newman and King's first child, the couple chose Jessica Alba and Topher Grace as his godparents.

In an earlier interview with E Online, King revealed that she and her filmmaker hubby believe that Swift will be an "ideal godmother" to their child. Citing the manner by which the pop star treats the people around her as well as the others who cross her path, King shared that she is confident of the singer's capacity to become a good influence to their child. She further stated, "She's so loving and so giving and so generous and she does everything from her heart and she's incredibly brave and authentic. It's a very rare thing to come across." King added, "I know that [our baby] will always have a very good person and role model through her."
